The Forrestfield-Airport Link project is well on track – literally!
Track laying in the 8km tunnels is under way, with 3km of skeleton track assembled and the first concrete pours for the track slab complete.
Around 2400 tonnes of Australian-manufactured steel will be used to build the track, which will eventually carry thousands of people each day between the CBD, Perth Airport and the eastern suburbs.
