Martinus successfully completed track and overhead wiring works along the $1.86 billion Forrestfield-Airport Link in Perth.
These works included:
- Construction of 16km of slab track
- Installation of embedded scissors and turnouts
5km of ballast track - 25,000m3 of concrete
- 1,000 welds
- 16km of optical character recognition (OCR) systems
- 5km of overhead line equipment (OLE)
- Installation of isolators and switching
- Earthing and bonding
- Testing and commissioning
Our innovative team worked closely with supply partners to design and manufacture specialised slab track construction machinery to undertake this project.
