Sydney Yard OHW Modernisation Project

Martinus Rail was awarded the Sydney Trains, Sydney Yard OHW Modernisation Project contract for the delivery of all OHW footings, structure installations, bridge fitting installation, and canopy strengthening at Central Station. The works were completed in Sydney Yard and between the Cleveland Street overbridge and Central Station platforms 1-9.

Martinus was selected to deliver these works due to our ability to offer a full OHW delivery team with both civil and electrical engineering and construction experience. These combined skill sets within one delivery team offered a holistic view of the impacts of civil construction within the longer term OHW renewal phase. This assists the client to reduce risks and manage interfaces between disciplines.

Martinus worked closely with Sydney Trains to develop a collaborative delivery arrangement that maximised productivity during time-critical possessions and midweek works. This reduced the risks to both our client an its customers in this heavily-used section of the Sydney Trains network.
